There is an entertaining, little tale, which I am never ever tired of duplicating. It is a tale concerning a citizen, who took a trip by the railway train for the very first time. When he purchased his ticket, he was told that he would be allowed to lug only 20 kilos of baggage. He had with himself 30 kilos. Just what did he do? Component of the luggage, which evaluated 20 kilos, he went on the floor of the compartment. The equilibrium he continued his head. There he remained on the bench in the train area, bring 10 kilos of baggage on his head.
After a long time, the TTE [the travelling ticket supervisor] entered the compartment. He was amazed to find the villager lugging the load on his head.
When the TTE asked him the factor for doing so, the citizen stated, ‘Sir! I am permitted to lug only 20 kilos: that much luggage I have kept on the flooring, the staying 10 kilos I am continuing my head!’ Naturally, the TTE was entertained. He claimed to the citizen, ‘Do not you understand that you and all your luggage are being drawn by the train engine? Whether you keep the travel luggage on the floor or bring it on your head, the burden is inevitably birthed by the engine. You will certainly need to pay for the added 10 kilos of baggage!’
We make fun of the citizen. However, in day-to-day live, most of us do not act unlike the citizen. We go on bring our little worries on our shoulders, when we understand that the whole worry of all the world is being birthed by the Lord. Let me state this to you today, ‘Cast all your cares after the Lord! Throw all your burdens at His Lotus-feet. And feel for once the joy of life!’
